Change: Chaos or Constructive Change? How to Deal Effectively with Officer and Organizational Transition

Why start over every time a new member, policy or group of officers come on board? Four core elements of required focus are offered to assist participants in moving forward when experienced officers are leaving office and new officers are taking over. Various “skills of transition” are introduced along with the necessary and often overlooked notions of motivation and “transitional communication.” Organizations that build on previous successes and failures are comprised of leaders who understand the value of turning potential chaos into constructive change.
